Weekly or fortnightly visits depending on growth rate. Service includes mowing to the appropriate height for your grass type, edge trimming along borders and paths, and removal of clippings if preferred.
We adjust cutting height seasonally and can apply treatments for moss, weeds, or fertilisation as separate services.
Initial consultation includes site visit, discussion of requirements, soil testing, and measurement. We produce scaled drawings showing proposed planting schemes, hard landscaping, and material specifications.
Design package includes plant sourcing recommendations and phased implementation timeline. Implementation can be quoted separately.
Formative pruning for young trees, crown reduction for mature specimens, deadwood removal, and shaping of ornamental shrubs. All cuts made to RHS guidelines.
Work requiring climbing or specialist access equipment is quoted separately. We can arrange tree surveys where necessary.
Spring work includes border cultivation, mulch application, and pruning of roses and early flowering shrubs. Autumn sessions focus on leaf clearance, bulb planting, and protection of tender plants.
Each session typically covers a half-day visit. Larger gardens may require multiple sessions.
Formal hedges trimmed to maintain shape and density. Informal hedges cut back after flowering. We work with privet, box, yew, laurel, beech, and mixed native hedging.
Frequency depends on species and desired formality. Most hedges benefit from two cuts per year minimum.
